Incident Command (IC): The greatest challenge in a major incident is to quickly establish order in a highly chaotic environment, a challenge that is tasked to Incident Command. This team is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and training a small command staff to operate from a command location to manage MVEST teams during incidents ranging from hours to several days or longer. The IC team will generally operate out of the MVEST office in the clubhouse during an emergency. The Marin Valley General Manager is the de facto Incident Commander when available.
