Billing

Water, trash and sewer fees are the same for everyone in the Park. Electricity and gas, are managed by the Park and itemized on the monthly rent bill. We are individually responsible for cable/internet/telephones.

Water

Because of drought and potential drought conditions it’s always important to save water. The North Marin Water District suggests ways to do that with a free home survey, rebates, and more with their Water Conservation Tip Sheet: Top 10 Ways to Save Water. Remember to store 5 gallons per person per day for a 5-day period in case of emergency!

Gas / Electric

Each home has its own individual meter; the connection between the street and the meter is the Park’s responsibility, and from the meter onwards, homeowners are responsible for the upkeep of the pipes/wiring. We need to make sure Management can get to the meters easily each month to read them accurately, and we need to let Management know if we smell gas. Make sure you know where your shutoff valves are.

The Park uses the PG&E time-of-use rates for mobile home parks. The cost of electricity will vary based on the amount used, time of day, and season. Energy rates are lower when energy demand is low. You can help reduce costs by using off-peak hours of the day (before 3 pm and after 8 pm Mon– Fri., plus all hours on weekends, and most holidays. Rates (Nov. – April) are lower than summer (May – Oct.)
