Marin Valley (Marin Valley Mobile Country Club—MVMCC) is a 55-plus senior community owned by the City of Novato, which provides a beautiful, peaceful setting for affordable housing. Residents own their own homes in a self-sustaining community that operates with no financial support from local, county, state, or federal funds. It independently maintains a community in terms of financial, infrastructure, and social needs since 1997 with a feeling of neighborliness, friendliness, and quiet enjoyment.

Marin Valley, a 55-plus senior community, affords the residents a beautiful and peaceful place to live along with friendly neighbors and the enjoyment of the beauty and serenity of nature in a quiet setting.

Volunteer Organizations
The four main volunteer organizations, PAC, MVEST, HOL, and Mar Val provide a strong sense of community and an ability for residents to participate in the welfare of the community and each other.
PAC — Park Acquisition Corporation
The PAC is a nonprofit corporation that officially represents Marin Valley residents in business and management decisions with the Park owner (the City of Novato) and Park Management. The PAC performs specific functions that would otherwise fall to the City as owner and contracts with a professional management company for the day-to-day Park operations.
MVEST — Marin Valley Emergency Safety Team
MVEST, a standing committee of PAC, provides education and training for a disaster-resilient community through individual and neighborhood preparedness. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate.
H O L — Home Owners League
HOL is the oldest organization in Marin Valley, celebrating 47 years of service as the voice of the residents to Park Management. They provide numerous daily, weekly, and monthly activities, classes, and special events. HOL is very active in making Marin Valley a safe, healthy, and happy environment while providing and sponsoring educational and recreational activities that promote the general welfare of all residents.
Mar Val — Mar Val Home Association
Mar Val sponsors many of the social activities in the community. All Park residents are members of the organization, and residents are encouraged to participate in Mar Val’s weekly and monthly events, along with its daily services to the community.

MVSC — Marin Valley Senior Community
Marin Valley Senior Community, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt corporation formed years ago to hold the title of the Marin Valley Mobile Country Club should the City of Novato decide in the future to transfer or sell the ownership of the Park to the residents. The corporation is comprised of four elected resident directors and three outside board-appointed directors.
