Community Workshop
BECOMING the MARIN VALLEY COOPERATIVE —
WHAT IT MEANS for US
Saturday, August 17, 1–3 pm
The Marin Valley Resident Ownership Discovery Committee invites you to a special
Limited Equity Housing Cooperative (LEHC) workshop.
DATE: Saturday, August 17, 2024
TIME: 1–3 pm
LOCATION: Clubhouse Ballroom
GOAL: Protect MVMCC from becoming an asset for a for-profit entity
by becoming a resident-owned housing cooperative to provide
affordability, security, and independence into the future.
WHY IT’S IMPORTANT TO ATTEND: We have been taking small steps toward
becoming a resident-owned community as a Limited Equity Housing Cooperative
(LEHC). This workshop is a critical opportunity for you to inform yourself about
becoming a co-owner in the future Marin Valley Cooperative.

We hope we can all be on time to hear Kim Coontz, the Executive Director of CCCD, who will be joining us on Zoom.
To help protect against COVID, we will be providing masks and ensuring a high level of natural air is circulating in the ballroom during the meeting.
We hope to see you there.
