October 24 Marin Valley Cooperative
Member Meeting Postponed
The Resident Ownership Discovery (ROD) Committee regrets to inform residents that the Fireside Chat scheduled for Thursday, October 10 and the Marin Valley Cooperative member meeting scheduled for October 24 are postponed.
In reviewing the interim Marin Valley Cooperative bylaws and the three Marin Valley Co-op Board policies (Code of Ethics, Conflict of Interest Policy, and Procurement Policy) with our partners at ROC-USA (Resident-Owned Communities USA) and CCCD (California Center for Cooperative Development), along with comments and questions from Marin Valley residents, the ROD Committee has decided to postpone these meetings. We need some additional time to be certain that we have updated the documents to send to residents for another round of review.
As soon as we can, we will announce the new meeting dates, which will hopefully be in early November.
